In 2014, we were looking for a fun way to promote budweiser beer during football season.  The "w gesture" had become synonymous with the university of wisconsin, and "whatever" and "wu-tang" were left in the previous millenia.  i took a classic beer icon and sketched him out making the w gesture one day, and pitched it as a marketing element for that football season.  we ended up winning a madison addy award for this theme.
